DTN Closing Grain Comments 02/18 13:49
March Corn Futures Top $5 in Green Session Across US Row Crops

Grain markets reversed from overnight weakness to climb higher, led by
continued strong price action in corn futures, as well as wheat futures pushing
deeper into summer 2024 highs. Outside markets, to begin the shortened week,
were mostly positive with outside commodities such as gold and crude oil up,
while equities were mixed overall Tuesday. The U.S. Dollar Index showed some
strength as well but overall remains in a short-term downtrend after trading to
its softest level since mid-December last week.
