Corn Goes for Four Straight Higher Closes; Soymeal Makes New Low and
Recovers; Wheat Higher
Corn futures succeeded in closing higher for the fourth consecutive day in
quiet, two-sided trade. Soybeans and soymeal, after falling to new lows,
recovered some. But beans still closed lower, while soymeal closed with a small
gain. All three wheat markets rose as well despite larger than expected
deliveries against the March contract.
